pxx325. Complete story of a pustular psoriasis (photo 11 of 32) For begin go to photo pxx313.
Pustules progressively disappeared when we resumed treat, ent with dexa... and we were sure of our diagnosis. New interview of patient confirmed our diagnosis as well.
Pustular psoriasis is often caused by withdrawal from corticosteroids addiction. We had to give dexa again to confirm this diagnosis. We had to interview the patient more closely because our cochonoma's protocol during 5 days could not cause addiction, of course!
Result of new interview: patient was treated by a bonesetter with a "natural powder"... for a few months! Police arrested the bonesetter probably because the "natural powder" was simply... corticosteroid powder. The patient subsequently had his first symptom of withdrawal: a severe pustular psoriasis. The evolution was so bad that he was sent to our hospice to die. We treated as for a generalized "cochonoma" with.... high dose of dexa! he was better, of course. But, relapsed when we tryed to reduce the dexa... etc
