Deep painful wounds on buttocks involving anus as well. Bad smell when admit because secondary infection as well. No history of abscess. Too big to be simply chancroid... Not responding to ciprofloxacin (one week), nor metronidazole(5days)....
A German doctor specialized in tropical diseases made a visual diagnose: chlamidia!?!... And, in fact, the wound where recovering (slowly) with doxycyclin!!! (see evolution next photos) But we had to associate metro to increase the speed of recovering (secondary infection?) ...all together: 5 weeks!!!
