- venereal diseases when penicillin (syphilis), doxy (gono.chlamidia) & cipro (cha,croid) are not indicated or not active
- all indication of amoxy when allergic penicillin family
- 500mg x 4
- Maximum dose: 4 grams a day.
- Theophylline : Increased concentration of theophylline
- Chloramphenicol : concurrent use is not recommended
- Lincomycins : concurrent use is not recommended
- Penicillins : since bacteriostatic drugs may interfere with the bactericidal effect of penicillins in the treatment of meningitis or in other situations where a rapid bactericidal effect is necessary, it is best to avoid concurrent therapy
- Gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal or stomach cramping and discomfort; diarrhea, nausea or vomiting)
- may be hepatotoxic on rare occasion (yellow eyes or skin...).
- skin rash, hypersensitivity skin rash, redness, or itching
- Fever, unusual weakness,
- Hepatic function impairment
- Loss of hearing: patients with a history of hearing loss may be at increased risk of further hearing loss
-Store below 40 °C preferably between 15 and 30 °C
