- Lower respiratory tract infections, especialy when amoxy, bactrim, fluco not active...
- Fever unknow origin
- chancroid
- failure of amoxy treatment...
- Prostatitis, chronic (500x3 for twenty-eight days)
- Typhoid fever, treat at lest ten days
- Skin and soft tissue infections if cloxa and genta are not indicated/active
- TB in association with other anti TB... only if allergic to 2 (or more) of classical anti TB drugs... (for TB 500mg x 3 also)
- 500mgr x 2-3
- Maximum = 1.5 grams daily
- Ciprofloxacin should be taken with a full glass (240 mL) of water.
- Patients with both hepatic and renal function impairment may require a reduction in the dosage of ciprofloxacin;
GI intolerance, nausea, diarrhoea...
Psychosis
Seizures have been reported very rarely ; however, the patients who did have seizures either had a previous seizure history, were alcoholic, or were taking ciprofloxacin concurrently with theophylline.
Store below 30 °C in a well-closed container.
